National Wear Read Day
National Wear Red Day is a day to raise awareness of congenital heart disease and support the vital work done by The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.
This is a wonderful charity that helps to provide life-saving medical equipment, as well as care and treatment. The charity also provides funds and care to support the families of children suffering from the disease. This includes accommodation, so that parents can stay close to their child while they’re undergoing treatment. Over the years, the charity’s work has helped to train medical staff to become experts on congenital heart disease and funded groundbreaking scientific research to aid our understanding and ability to treat the disease.
